About
I graduated from University of Sydney where I did two masters degrees. One in Sociology and social policy and the other one was Gender and cultural studies. I am doing another degree in political science at University of Toronto.
What I'm mostly concerned about at the moment is the very status of "the political" in today world. In other words the extents to which the politics can be deferred from "politics" is what interests me. What can be called "political" today? How political are people? What are the ways is in which a society can be called engaged with "the political"?
For sure, continuing my interest in concepts like public sphere and public reasoning, I am still keen about the ways in which a civil society runs itself and educates itself politically. The very ways that new media helps improvement of public reasoning in societies where communication is restricted has always one of my fields of study.
