About
I am currently a PhD student at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (Health & Behavioural Sciences Specialization) and a member of the Re:searching for LGBTQ Health team at the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health.
I hold an MA in Women & Gender Studies and the Collaborative Graduate Program in Women's Health from the University of Toronto, and a BA Honours degree in History and Sociology/Women's Studies from Bishop's University in Lennoxville, QC.
Research Interests
- Populations: women with physical disabilities; sexual and gender minorities (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans), particularly lesbian and bisexual women; women from rural areas
- Areas: women’s health; sexual, reproductive, perinatal and maternal health, particularly experiences of pregnancy and childbirth; access to care; delivery of care; mental health
- Theory and Methods: feminist; queer; critical disability; post-modern; intersectionality; reflexivity; qualitative; community-based; quantitative
